Davistreet
Davistreet started when Trevor McSwain (vocals) and Jonathan Summers (guitar) met at an open mic. night in Milledgeville, Ga. Over the next year, they worked with several drummers and bassists before finally deciding on the current line-up. In April of 2002 Jim Chapman, formerly of the Scott Little Band, became the band's permanent drummer. In August 2002 bassist Matt Cicero, formerly of Well-Trained Dog, signed on to complete the rhythm section. Davistreet believes in well-written songs and an energized stage performance. The band is currently working on a full-length album, and performing at venues throughout the south east.
Davistreet has had the good fortune of sharing the stage with: Drivin' n' Cryin', Run DMC, Edwin McCain, Rev-7, Well-Trained Dog, SMO, The Cigar Store Indians, and Moonshine Still among others.
