Acting for Film Workshop Begins Tuesday Night , April 7th. Register Today !

If you've always wanted to be a movie star or just learn more about acting,  take the first step today by enrolling in the Acting for Film Workshop offered at 106 West Performing Arts Venue in Winder. 

The six-week session class will begin Tuesday April 7th, and will be held on Tuesday nights at 6:45 p.m..

Dick Mays, who has written, acted and directed and produced short films, and has acted and directed with Winder-Barrow Community Theatre is teaching the acting workshop. 

The Acting for Film class is aimed at adults with an interest in acting, but is open to ages 16 and up.  Actors who are 16 and 17 need to have permission from their parents. No acting experience is necessary. 

One of the goals of the class is to provide an opportunity for those interested in acting to work together on an ongoing basis so the class will be offered as an option throughout the year for those who choose to go that route.
