Acting for Film Six Week Session Begins March 16th, Tuesday Night at 6:45 - Join In and Start Acting the First Night !
Do you want to be a movie star ? Or, learn more about acting for film in a fun and informal setting where you learn and practice acting skills in a small group setting ?
If so, come to the Acting for Film Workshop at 106 West.
The next six-week session begins Tuesday, March 16th and will be held on Tuesday nights at
6:45 p.m.
The Workshop is aimed at adults with an interest in acting, and is open to ages 16 and up. No acting experience is necessary.
One goal of the class is to provide an opportunity for those interested in acting to produce short films together. Films worked on by students are periodically submitted to film festivals and shown on the internet. The six-week class sessions are offered throughout the year for those who continue to study and
act.
Dick Mays, who has written, acted, directed, and produced short films (and has acted and directed with Winder-Barrow Community Theatre) leads the acting workshop.
The cost of the full session is $95 for adults and $65 for students. One trial class is offered to those who are interested in seeing what the workshop sessions are about; you may come in and attend the first session and then, if you wish to continue the series, you may pay for the course at the end of the trial class.
To register for the six week workshop or arrange to take a trial class call 770-868-1977 or write beckytollerson@106west.com .
The 106 West Performing Arts Venue is located at 106 West Athens Street in
