Sarah Tollerson & the Big Fantastic, Mr. Greenleaf, and Ana Markert Saturday Night the 19th at 106 West !
106 West presents a really great all ages show this weekend with two wonderful bands and an exciting new acoustic singer-songwriter!
Sarah Tollerson and the Big Fantastic will grace our stage once again - and last time til Christmas as Sarah leaves for Boston's Berklee College of Music soon - so don't miss this pop and blues driven acoustic music show! The band, made up of Sarah (vocals and guitar) University of Georgia musicians, Trevor and Alec Wooden on lead guitar and bass guitar respectively, and Middle Tennesee State University drummer Joe Bleakley, combine their fine musicianship to sing and play original lyrics and melodies primarily penned by Sarah.
Ana Markert, a rising young singer-songwriter from Apalachee High School, who brings to mind Jennifer Nettles and Alison Krause, and who says her writing is influenced by Jack Johnson, will perform her original ballads.
And Mr. Greenleaf, whose singer guitar player Jonathan Sommers hails from the very famous Davistreet) brings his rocking reggae electric party band, whose influences include Red Hot Chili Peppers,Temptations, P-funk, Petty and Butch Walker among others, to 106 West.
