106 West Hosts Open Mic Night Saturday, September 22nd

It's time again for a 106 West Open Mic Contest to showcase original songs by all you wonderful players and singers out there !   These open mics have been a lot of fun and pretty amazing in the past as players and singers of all ages from all walks of live come to share their original acoustic songs. 

Players and singers are asked to prepare three original acoustic songs for performance; Each act 
may include up to three performers.  There is a  $5.00 sign-up fee  per act that is pooled as prize money that is given to first, second and third place winners as determined by judges.

But don't think that this is an American idol type format.  Rather,  all performers and listeners come to listen and support each other - from the person who is playing on stage for the first time to the seasoned performer who wants to try out a new song  on a receptive audience.  Sign up to play by calling 106 West at 770-868-1977 or email beckytollerson@106west.com. Admission for friends and family  will be $5.00 per person. Soft-drinks, coffee, candy and ice cream are also offered.
