Sean Kagalis Returns to 106 West with a swath of tunes from a brand new CD.
Power – Folkie Sean Kagalis unveils his new CD “Connect: Live @ Eddies Attics” on Friday, February 22nd at a CD release party here.
Joining Sean that evening will be Justin Blackstock, a local favorite, as well as Athens' own folk-blues artist, singer-songwriter Sam Deeds.
Advance tickets are available at 106 West in the music supply store until 6 pm Friday for $8. Additional tickets will be available at the box office at 8 pm Friday for $10 barring an advance sellout.

KAGALIS ‘CONNECTS’ ON NEW LIVE CD
January 31, 2008 (Tucker, GA) – Local power-folkie unveils his new CD ‘Connect: Live @ Eddie’s Attic’ with a release party on Friday, February 22nd at 8pm at 106 West (106 W. Athens St. Winder, GA 30680 770-868-1977 .anybody@106west.com)
On August 5, 2007, Sean Kagalis recorded a live performance at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur with the intention to release a live CD. Local multi-instrumentalist Brennan Bray accompanied Sean on a majority of the 17 recorded songs with her cello. Not only does this project serve as a live album, but also as a look back on the past decade of the songwriter’s career. Setting itself apart from Sean’s previous self produced demos, this recording allows each song to exist in its own moment, on a stage, with an audience.
‘Connect’ is an independent release in association with RATE records, a DIY co-operative founded by Dewey Barnes in response to the networking needs of the independent musician in an ever evolving industry. Still in its conceptual stages, its roster consists of Kagalis and fellow local songwriter/performer Jessica Dunnagan. More info on RATE can be found at http://raterecords.com .
